Each patient deserves the highest level of care through compassion and a patient-centered approach that is customized to their situation. I spend time listening and learning my patients' stories and values so we may create the best treatment plan.
Dr. Stang always knew he wanted to help care for others.
"Volunteering in health care settings solidified my path to becoming a physician," he said. "It is a unique privilege to care for someone during such a stressful time."
Building lasting relationships is what drew Dr. Stang to his specialty.
"Cancer is very personal," he said. "And every case and situation is unique. That is why I take the time to get to know my patients, discuss their treatment options and make sure their questions are answered."
Dr. Stang grew up in Minnesota. He enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his wife and son exploring the Bloomington community in his free time.
